The students were excited because, as an added incentive, those who completed the entire list were given some free time at the end to buy a snack or something to eat. However, the most important aspect of this activity was that the students had the chance to directly apply the concepts they've been learning in their English classes throughout the year in a real-life context.
A visit to the supermarket
A few days ago, a group of students from 3.A and 3.D visited the supermarket during their English class. There, they had to find a variety of food items and write down their names in English. They also had to note the price of each item.
